Marking the 50th anniversary of Concorde’s first commercial flight, this commemorative coin celebrates one of the most iconic aircraft in aviation history.

Created by design agency Osborne Ross, the reverse features a striking supersonic design depicting Concorde in flight. Cleverly incorporated into a split-flap departure board, the aircraft’s name appears boldly across the centre, capturing the excitement and prestige associated with this revolutionary aeroplane.

Produced in partnership with British Airways and Airbus, the coin is presented in packaging that traces Concorde’s remarkable story—from its creation and pioneering service to its retirement in 2003.

This Silver Proof Piedfort edition weighs twice as much as its Silver Proof equivalent, offering an enhanced version of a fitting tribute to the world’s most famous supersonic passenger aircraft.
