In 2025, to mark the 75th anniversary of Peanuts, Monnaie de Paris celebrates the famous gang of friends. Snoopy is the main character of the collection and decides to cross the Atlantic ocean to travel to France for his birthday.
This coin takes the shape of one of Snoopy's most iconic poses.The beagle smiles fondly as he hugs a heart. The number 75,referring to the anniversary celebrated in 2025, is engraved on the heart. For the first time, Monnaie de Paris is introducing a special shaped coloured coin.
On the reverse, against a background engraved with motifs of dog paw prints, Snoopy is nestled on one of the zeros of the face value of each coin and looks at his friend Woodstock perched on the R of the euro. There are also the words RF, the name Peanuts and the anniversary commemoration.
