ANA World’s Fair of Money Special Koala 2026 1oz Silver Coloured Coin with Liberty Bell Privy Mark

Koalas are tree-dwelling marsupials native to Australia. They live primarily in eucalyptus forests across the country’s eastern and southeastern regions, where they feed almost exclusively on eucalyptus leaves. Because this diet provides relatively little energy and is difficult to digest, koalas conserve energy by sleeping or resting for approximately 18 to 22 hours each day. They often curl up in the forks of trees, where they remain safe and comfortable while they rest.

The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of a koala perched in a eucalyptus tree, holding a leafy branch in its mouth surrounded by native foliage. The design features a privy mark of the Liberty Bell, a powerful symbol of freedom and independence. The design includes the inscriptions ‘KOALA’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, as well as the coin’s weight, purity and 2026 year-date.
