There are only two times in US History where emergency notes were issued.  The North Africa notes are one of them.  These notes were issued to our troops that were a part of Operation Torch.  They were issued in $1, $5, and $10 denominations.  Our troops used these notes throughout North Africa and then through Europe as they made their way East to defeat Hitler.  They look like regular 1935 Silver Certificates except they have a yellow seal on them instead of a blue one.  Like the Hawaii notes, they could immediately be deemed worthless if for some reason we had to withdraw our troops.  These particular notes are actually collected in Europe almost as heavily as they are here since many of them actually circulated when US soldiers spent them on their way East.  This highest denomination $10 note is an incredible example of the type.  Exceptional centering and margins and wonderful print quality.  The embossing is also fantastic!  This note is very near the top and only a whisper from the scant 18 that are graded finest known 67’s.  You can absolutely argue that this note is in the top 20 known to exist.  For the advanced currency collector!
