They originally lived in North America and Eurasia. They are known for their dense coat structure, their distinctive shoulder arch, and their robust survival in extreme climates. Bison play an important ecological role. Through their grazing habits, they shape the landscape and create habitat for other species. This imposing animal is brought to life by the combination of detailed design, deliberately used high relief, and subtle coloration.
